MathSoc Election Report

Good day Math Students,

As you may have seen, there was an election last week for the position of MathSoc President. Many of you proudly marked X's for the candidate of your choice and the results are in:

• Samuel Kou - 11 Votes
• Monika Szydlowski - 42 Votes
• Declined - 8 Votes

You can all congradulate your new president when you see her hard at work :)

We also ratified three new first year reps and two new CS reps making them the majority of council. If you would like to help offset the number of CS reps, there are plenty of rep position openings. You can pick up a form outside the MathSoc office (MC 3038). They don't take that long to fill out and it's a lot of fun. If you have any questions or concerns, you can email CRO@mathsoc.uwaterloo.ca to get a speedy response.
