Relative of the BLACK BOX? This issue has "Under New Management" superimposed on the logo on the cover. Here is a snippet of an article by the editor, Jim Jordan:
mathNEWS exists to inform and to entertain you. A small group of people cannot lease a considerably larger one. That's why I am asking (begging) you to lend a hand, give us some feedback or, at the very least, give a damn about mathNEWS. A box has been placed on the wall across from C&D on the third floor for you to tell us what you have to say. I hope that mathNEWS will soon be better than it ever was. It can be--but not without your help.
