Vandals Strike on the 4^th Floor

You know who you are. The people that vandalised the door of the Math Endowment Fund sometime on the weekend starting July 11. Vandalism is not appreciated by anyone, especially when it could be hurtful towards the faculty, staff and students of Math.

If anyone at any time has any questions or concerns regarding the Math Endowment Fund, the way it is managed, where the money goes from the voluntary student contribution, etc., please feel free to contact me through email at: mefcom@undergrad.math, by phone at x5757, or come to see me in MC4046 and I will try to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge.

Remember that the Math Endowment Fund (MEF) is an organization designed to ``function as a semi-autonomous non-profit organization within the University of Waterloo''. ``The objects of MEF are, subject to Section 3 of the University of Waterloo Act, 1972, to raise funds to be used for an on-going commitment to improving undergraduate mathematics education at the University (of Waterloo) and to make recommendations with respect to the investments and administration of such funds and the application of such funds in furtherance of such improvement.''
