Italian Dressing to Head Federation of Sauces

The results are in, and Italian Dressing (favourite condiment of Brenda Slomka), with 42% of the total votes cast, will be the next president of the Federation of Sauces (Feds). Joining it on the executive are VPEd-elect Educational Issues (Ryan O'Connor's favourite condiment), VPSI-elect Red Pepper Relish (Mike Kerrigan's), and VPAF Green Mustard (Chris Di Lullo's).

Green Mustard is the only member of the new executive who did not run as part of Italian Dressing's ticket after defeating team RICE member Cheez Whiz (Rob Robson's favourite condiment) for VP administration and finance.

The results of the Feds election came as a surprise to many. Ketchup was shocked that a whole ticket did not win, but said, "I wouldn't have expected two tickets to be divided like that. If someone was going to break up a group running together, I would have at least expected it to be an independant candidate like Salsa." He then unscrewed his head a poured part of his insides onto a grilled cheese sandwich.

Salsa (David Huynh's favourite condiment) was disappointed not to get in, but figured that his platform of "chunkier and spicier" might not have gone over to well.

Another condiment who may have been too spicy for the Feds was Tobasco Sauce (Albert Nazareth's favourite). Green mustard, who he ran along side, offered that medium heat that was more palletable to the general populous. Also from their ticket were Cheese (Melissa's Alvares' favourite) and math condiment Jam (Liam McHugh-Russell). Both of whom are delicious.

Without representation in the Federation of Sauces election were the members of the collective (Stacey Watson, Stephen Lockwood, Julian Ichim, and Nik Sydor) and Dave Ellis, who does not exist.

In the math regular councillor race, Dijon Mustard (Ed Schmitt's favourite) brought in almost 50% more votes than opponent Sauerkraut (Dave Nicholson's favourite).

When ask to comment on the results, Wasabi said, "You are all weak! I am strong! I am WASABIIIIIIII!!!!!!"
